Tuk-tuk love

This is a painting I bought last week just before we left Bangkok; I find it interesting that we are still buying our art in Bangkok even though we live in Japan.

It has just been announced that classes at Bangkok schools are cancelled until at least the 15th of November so we are thinking about our teacher-friends… and all the people who no longer have a home.

  1. Your photos really capture a mood! They give me the feeling that I’m getting a sense of what t place is like by looking at your photos.

Sometimes it takes a while before a new place feels like home. I know a few people who’ve lived in Bangkok before coming here, and they seem to visit regularly. But I think that each place has its benefits… like the strong yen!
