Dreaming of beach vacations in Thailand

{Life is sweet at the beach}

DP and I are just back from three totally relaxing days with friends in Cha-Am which is a three-hour drive from Bangkok.

This mother and son made me so happy; they were having a lovely, stress-free Sunday morning.

One of my very favourite things about a beach vacation is having time for long, leisurely meals.  This weekend we were often the last people left in the restaurant at the resort. The Thai staff were so very patient with us.

What are you dreaming of today?

  1. OK, so you've got me dreaming of Thailand again! I absolutely loved our time there and the people had a huge part in that. Thai people are so welcoming and friendly. Must go back!

  2. I always love your photos so much. This post makes me think that you are feeling more and more at home in your surroundings which makes me happy.And I'm with you – a vacation is definitely when I can have leisurely meals. The idea of lingering over dessert is dream worthy in itself. I'm sure you can imagine that with a 5 and 8 year old, I don't get to do that too often.

  3. @AnnaThanks for your comment. I'm so glad you had a good time in Thailand.@MaraI love the chilled out vibe on Thai beaches; it is one of my very favourite parts of living here. Toes in the sand as the sun sets, pad thai and lime soda for dinner. Yum!
