The Sunday List (8)

1. Listening to…
Bing Crosby’s album White Christmas. I did my best to wait until December 1st but DP is at the movies so I broke down. He’ll be able to tell when he gets home too… he’ll just feel the Christmas vibes all over the apartment.

…and If You Were a Sailboat by Katie Melua who performed at the Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona on Wednesday evening. She was better than hot chocolate. You can watch the video for her sailboat song here.

2. Snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug…
now that our central heating has been repaired.

3. Cleaning…
the (now warm) apartment for tomorrow’s book club discussion of The Book Thief. DP and I give it two thumbs up.

4. Packing…
for a long weekend in Florence, Italy with a small group of high school students. We have booked a market tour with Divina Cucina who blogs at Over a Tuscan Stove.

5. Recommending…
four new blogs over at Slow Blogs.

6. Counting…
our blessings one by one!

How about you? What’s on your Sunday List?

  1. My list today is very simple: 1. Driving ten hours through snow and rain. 2. Unpacking. 3. Reading your blog. Guess which one made me feel happy?(We listened to X-mas music in the car all the way home. The younger one had to hear Rudolph about fifty times.)

  2. @MaraWas it the unpacking that made you happy? No? My blog, then? Cool! You must be feeling very Christmassy after that long trip with your kids and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!@AprilPajama day. I love pajama day. I am going to have one tomorrow! Happy belated Thanksgiving!
