The Sunday List 4

DP and I have two new projects we’d like to share this weekend.

14 Lenses: 7 Students and 7 Teachers Photograph The Planet
This photo blog is a collaboration between seven students and seven teachers who shared, at one time (not so long ago), the same school – the American School Foundation of Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.

We now live in seven different countries: Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Chile, Mexico and the U.S.A. Each day, seven days a week, we will publish two photographs – one taken by a student (all seven are now in university) and one photo by one of their teachers. These photos have been taken, quite literally, all over the world.

We invite you to visit us here, to read the photographers biographies and to comment!

Crossing Canada, Frame by Frame
If you liked DPs frame photos from this post, you might like to see them at Apartment Therapy. The folks at Apartment Therapy were soliciting photographs and stories of people’s summer vacations for a series called Reader Escapes. I sent them DPs vintage frame photos and they e-mailed to say they’d like to publish them. You can see our vacation, as published by the lovely people at Apartment Therapy, here.

What cool things have you found on the web lately? Please share!

  1. Thanks, Wendy. We are really proud of the 14 Lenses project and it's particularly fun now that people have started commenting on the photos. We actually received our Apartment Therapy t-shirt in the mail yesterday. Cool, no?
